/ Learning Plan Overview

Students will investigate the anatomy of pattern repeats and how they are created, and will discover how traditional Batik fabric is created in Indonesia. Students will be invited to create a series of pattern repeats, and will select one pattern repeat to recreate on a large piece of fabric using an alternative batik fabric printing technique.
